Razor blades found in sand at Orillia park: OPP

Police say 'several' blades were located Wednesday night in North Street Park

Police are investigating after razor blades were found in the sand at an Orillia park Wednesday.

Orillia OPP responded at about 9:30 p.m. to North Street Park, where “several razor blades were found under a bridge portion of the playground equipment in a sandbox area,” police said in a news release.

“A thorough search was conducted through the entire sand area of the park with no other razors or sharp objects found.”

No injuries were reported.
